I’ve been playing around with the new (for me) 40D and my 20D has been relegated to experimental stuff now. Namely the pinhole photo you see below. Funnily enough, that’s exactly how I see without contact lenses in so, in a sense, that’s my reality.
That said, looks like I have to clean my sensor since pinhole photography makes sensor dust so much more apparent. I love that metering works perfectly though! And you actually can see through the viewfinder still. I’ve gotta fine tune the focal distance and that should bring it into more focus.
This actually could be pretty cool for street photography…no big lens should bring less attention and coupled with the silent shooting of the 40D, it could be pretty cool.
Otherwise, this is mostly just done out of boredom and nostalgia for when my dad introduced me to pinhole photography at the wee age of 8.
Oh yeah and I’ve finally put an email address on the site! I had registered holla_back@mac.com a long time ago, but now that it’s changed to me.com, it makes more sense.
